This is another of our seamless turn-key Utility Interactive Systems located in beautiful Taos, NM.
This 3.78 kilowatt PV system consists of 21 single-crystalline Sharp 180 watt modules, and was designed to zero out the customer's electric bill.
The Power-Fab SunStrut PV mounting system was utilized in a flush mount configuration.
The 12/12 roof pitch and southerly roof orientation was instrumental in choosing to flush mount the array.
The highly efficient JH-3500U Sharp Grid tie inverter was chosen to convert sunlight to household AC power.
The utility meter was pedestal mounted at the street, so our electrical staff placed the ac disconnect on an equipment stand manufactured at Power-Fab.
The equipment stand was made large enough to accommodate another meter in anticipation of a REC (Renewable Energy Certificate) program available in the future.
