This Utility Interactive system is located in Santa Fe, NM. The 2 kilowatt PV system consists of 8 SHARP 165 watt poly-crystalline modules and four
SHARP 170 watt modules arranged in three parallel strings. Now the reason for the different modules is that this customer had the first phase of the
system installed two years prior to the final phase, the last string of four modules. At that time the 165 watt module was no longer in production.
The JH-3500U Sharp Grid tie inverter was able to accommodate the two models without any difficulties.
The DP-BRM Block & Ballast mount system was utilized to avoid roof penetrations entirely. The racks are adjustable and able to withstand 90+ mph
wind loading. A DC disconnect was placed on the roof and at ground level for safety.
