This Grid tie Utility Interactive system is located in sunny Albuquerque, NM. The 1.8 kilowatt PV system is comprised of 10 Sharp 180 watt mono-crystalline
modules. This PV system is designed and engineered to zero out the customer's electric bill.
The tried and true Low Profile Roof-Ground mount was utilized to secure two rows of modules on an asphalt shingle roof with "easy-feet".
This mounting system permits adjustments to 45 degrees tilt angle via telescoping legs. Our highly skilled electrician was able to utilize the house crawl space
to connect the modules to the inverter and thereby limit the length of conduit and wire run, and keep the system streamlined.
An SMA 2500 watt inverter was chosen to convert DC electricity to household AC power. This inverter is designed to accommodate an additional
1.08 kilowatts of modules at a future date. Secured to a piece of plywood that spans the wall studs, the owner opted for plywood as a painting medium.
