This Grid tie Utility Interactive system is located in pastoral Corrales, NM. The 2.52 kilowatt PV system consists of 14 Sharp 180 watt monocrystalline modules. This PV system will provide the owner with an annual rebate check from her utility company of about $100. The household uses an average of 29 kilowatt hours of electricity daily which is completely offset by the PV system. Payback period is 19 years utilizing Federal and State income tax credits.
A variation of the standard Roof-ground mount, the Two-Tier ground mount is secured to the ground via six 12"x36" diameter concrete pylons. This mounting system permits adjustments from 20 degrees to 45 degrees tilt angle. This racking system provides for easy module access for occasional cleaning.
